Techie Tuesday ~ 360º Videos in the Classroom

360videosAre you looking for a new resource to help bring the immersion of a lesson to the next level?  No matter the subject or grade level, there is a 360º Video for your class!  360º Videos are known as immersive or spherical videos.  During the creation of the video, a view in every direction is recorded at the same time using an omnidirectional camera or a full collection of cameras.  Hold on to your seat, because here is the best part…when you play the video you can control the viewing direction like a panorama. Yes, like move it around in any direction! You don’t need a special viewer or anything. Just view straight from your computer, tablet, or phone.

Okay, so before we go further, you MUST check it out, so you can see it for yourself!  Open up a new tab, so you can return for some fabulous integration ideas and video sites.  Are you ready to meet the largest dinosaur that ever existed?
