Google Docs is a basic word processing program similar to Microsoft Word. You can probably think of numerous ways you have used or have seen Microsoft Word used in education from newsletters to flyers to brochures.

When you add the cloud features of Google Docs, you are able to easily create, share, copy, and collaborate from anywhere.  This opens a whole new world for use in the classroom, but there is even more!  There are built-in tools such as voice typing and numerous add-on possibilities.

You have traditional features such as fonts, pictures, and templates.  How many times have you lost a Word document because you forgot to save?  With Google Docs, your creations are safe with autosaving.

Let’s get to the fun part…. how can you integrate Google Docs in the classroom?
